About the Role Join our national Strata team in Sydney or Melbourne. You will underwrite strata business and support preparations for expansion of our strata proposition. The role manages new business, renewals and policy adjustments while balancing customer needs, risk appetite and profitable growth. You will strengthen broker relationships, share technical knowledge and coach colleagues.

What You'll Do

- Underwrite residential strata new business, renewals and policy adjustments within delegated authority.
- Assess complex risks, establish terms and communicate explicit underwriting decisions to brokers.
- Build productive broker relationships that support service quality and profitable portfolio growth.
- Coach underwriters and share practical guidance on risk appetite, coverage and technical decisions.
- Collaborate with Distribution, Claims, Risk Engineering, Pricing and other specialist teams.

What You'll Bring

- At least five years of underwriting experience in strata, SME or corporate property.
- Residential strata experience, with commercial strata or commercial property exposure highly regarded.
- Sound knowledge of underwriting guidelines, delegated authority, risk appetite and reinsurance principles.
- Experience assessing complex accounts and achieving profitable underwriting outcomes.
- Strong broker engagement, negotiation and stakeholder management capability.
- Leadership, mentoring or coaching experience, with interest in progressing towards team leadership.
