Senior Wireless Network Engineer

Perth, WA | 3-Month Contract | ASAP Start

We are seeking an experienced Senior Wireless Network Engineer to join our client’s team in Perth on an initial 3-month contract .

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, configure, implement and support enterprise wireless networks.
- Troubleshoot complex Wi-Fi connectivity, performance, roaming and RF issues.
- Perform wireless assessments, RF analysis, optimisation and capacity planning.
- Configure and support wireless controllers, access points and network management platforms.
- Work closely with LAN, WAN, security and infrastructure teams.
- Maintain network documentation and support incident/change management activities.

About You:





- Solid experience in enterprise wireless networking .
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless / Catalyst 9800 environments.
- Strong knowledge of 802.11 Wi-Fi standards, RF fundamentals and wireless security .
- Experience with Ekahau or equivalent wireless survey tools.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, switching and routing .
- Experience with 802.1X, RADIUS and AAA .
- Cisco certifications such as CCNP and/or Ekahau certification are highly desirable.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
