Role Description The Senior Workers Compensation Case Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for managing complex workers compensation claims from initiation to resolution. This position includes coordinating rehabilitation and return-to-work plans, conducting detailed claim reviews, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. The role involves liaising with injured workers, employers, medical providers, and insurers to facilitate timely, effective case management and achieve sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
The Senior Case
Manager will analyse claim trends,
provide guidance on best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of case management processes. This role may also involve mentoring other case managers and supporting clients with short-term case management and coordination relief as needed.
Qualifications
- Solid workers compensation case management skills, including end-to-end claim management and complex case handling.
- Experience developing and implementing rehabilitation and return-to-work plans, with a focus on sustainable worker outcomes.
- Sound knowledge of workers compensation legislation, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to liaise with workers, employers, medical professionals, and insurers.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review claims, identify trends, and recommend practical solutions.
- High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail in managing multiple cases and deadlines remotely.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
- Prior experience in workers compensation, insurance, or occupational rehabilitation in a senior or lead role is beneficial.
