Established in 1978, Wakefield Trucks is a family-owned business with an outstanding reputation for service and after sales support. With over 60 staff and 45 years of experience in the transport industry, we offer full sales and aftersales support – including current and used truck sales and spare parts support. Additionally, our premises in Burton includes large onsite workshops with a fully equipped panel crash repair shop.
The Role
This role would suit either an experienced Service Advisor, or a potential trainee looking for a new career opportunity. The successful applicant will:
- Contact customers on a daily basis and advise of the progress of repairs and estimated finishing times
- Provide quotations to customers in an accurate and timely manner and follow up with the customer once quotations have been sent
- Supply invoices to customers within the agreed service standard
- Respond to telephone and counter inquiries from customers promptly and efficiently
- Build relationships with customers to ensure ongoing business
- Keep track of workloads within the various service sections in order to report back to customers on the progress of the work being undertaken for them
- Coordinate acceptable solutions to customer issues
- Comply with all relevant WHS policies and procedures
- Other reasonable administration duties as required by manager
You
- Previous experience in an administrative role (Beneficial)
- Hold a current Driver's License (Heavy Vehicle License beneficial)
- An understanding of automotive parts (Beneficial)
- Ability to consistently deliver exceptional customer service
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in accordance with established processes
- Competence with Microsoft Office
