The Role:
The purpose of this role is to schedule and organise service work. Interact with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Scheduling appointments
- Ensure customer / drivers provide service authorisation.
- Open and close repair orders (costing)
- Correctly identify faults described by customer.
- Ensure to note damage and defects on vehicles during check-in process.
- Raising Internal / warranty & Customer invoicing and Purchase orders.
- Sublet invoice control and processing onto repair orders.
- Customer communication updating on repairs or enquiries.
- Take part in daily meetings with Workshop Foreman to prioritise workload.
- Manage booking diary, including carrying overs.
- Ensure correct approvals have been obtained for Warranty and Customer repairs.
- Ensure weekly batch printing is completed with parts preordering.
- Ensure technicians have completed work orders with correct information.
- Ensure vehicle is acceptable in presentation back to customer / driver.
- Ensure all repairs are explained to customer / driver at pick up as required.
- Ensure compliance with IVECO’s Environmental Policy, ISO140001 standards,
and Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
- Ensure all completed paperwork is filed correctly.
- Update system regularly and accurately
- Other Service Department related duties as required.
- Maintain customer database records with a high level of data accuracy.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Commercial Vehicles - preferred.
- Prior experience as a service advisor
- Sound negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Strong organisational ability
- Sound computer skills
- Customer service focused.
- Technical/mechanical knowledge
- Experience with ERAPower – Quoting and costing - Preferred
- Ability to problem solve.
- Great communication skill for both internal and external customers.
- Prepared to work in a quick-paced environment.
- Strong initiative.
- High standard of presentation.
- Team player but can also work autonomously.
- HR license, not essential but will be highly considered.
