The Company Our client has been supplying access and lifting equipment to Brisbane's construction, maintenance, warehousing and industrial sectors since 1997. With a fleet spanning scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts and man lifts, and with more than 1,000 active customers, they've built a reputation on reliability, technical know-how and getting the job done properly.

The business runs its own delivery fleet in-house, so equipment gets where it needs to be, on time, every time. They've recently moved into a new purpose-built complex featuring a 9-bay maintenance workshop and 4-bay painting and sandblasting facility, and they're growing.

The Role

They're looking for one experienced, high-level Service Technician to join the team and take real ownership of the maintenance division.

You'll be diagnosing, repairing and servicing elevated work platforms and related machinery, responding to customer breakdowns, and keeping equipment running to a standard that protects both the fleet and the people using it.

This isn't a role for cutting corners, safety matters here because people's lives are on the line every time a machine goes out the gate. In return, you'll get a business that backs its technicians, trains and develops its people, and takes pride in doing things right.

What you'll be doing

- Ensuring smooth,



effective day-to-day operation of the maintenance division
- Responding quickly to customer breakdowns and repair requests
- Diagnosing, repairing and servicing elevated work platforms (EWPs) and related equipment
- Liaising with external contractors on specialised repairs
- Ensuring all equipment meets safety and compliance standards
- Building strong working relationships with clients, suppliers and the team

About you

- 5+ years' experience in the access equipment industry (10 years highly regarded)
- Trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology, Automotive Mechanics, Heavy Diesel/Fitting or similar
- A genuine technician who can move confidently across different areas of access equipment
- Hands-on and proactive, a self-starter who works well solo or as part of a team
- Organised and reliable, with a track record of getting the job done properly and on time
- Clean, full driver's licence
- Down to earth, safety-conscious, and takes real pride in your work
