Love Therapy Australia is seeking experienced and exceptional Sex Therapists and Couples

Counsellors to join the team.

Working independently from home via Telehealth, you can choose your working hours and the clients that you work with. We are an inclusive practice and welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, experiences and identities. Our preference is for therapists who can work with sex therapy related challenges in a couples setting. We are entirely privately funded so open to psychologists, social workers and counsellors.

Role and responsibilities

Delivery of counselling services

- Provide counselling interventions to individuals and couples experiencing sexual, relationship, and mental health issues. (50-minute counselling sessions)
- Support client treatment outcomes and goals.
- Case formulation and delivery of tailored counselling services to support therapeutic interventions.
- Liaise with health care professionals and referral networks to support holistic client care, and facilitate referral partnerships.

Administration

- Maintain and store client case notes securely using your chosen storage method.
- Maintain and store your client resources and handouts using your chosen storage method.
- Maintain your own office space and video set up – we provide the Telehealth video capacity, you provide your video equipment/laptop/desk space.

About you

- Holds current registration with ACA/PACFA/AHPRA/AASW – preferable.
- Must have full working rights in Australia. Member of SAS/ASSERT and based in Victoria or NSW.
- Holds current professional insurance for the provision of counselling services – essential.
- Have an ABN – or willing to obtain one prior to starting - essential
- Proficient in working with couples with training completed – desirable.
- Preferably available after-hours for weekdays, and weekends – optional,



you decide your hours.
- Works well independently and in a team environment.
