Site Supervisor – Shutdowns & Industrial Maintenance

Permanent Full-Time | $180K–$200K+ Average Earnings | WA-Based

CrewSELECT is proud to be partnering with a leading industrial maintenance contractor specialising in industrial screening systems, wear protection and materials handling solutions across Australia's largest mining operations.

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead shutdown crews completing industrial screen panel change-outs across major mine sites throughout Western Australia.

This role is ideal for an experienced shutdown leader with a solid mechanical background who understands screen media installation, fixing systems and shutdown execution. While a trade qualification is not essential, applicants with Mechanical Fitter, Fixed Plant or similar mechanical experience are highly encouraged to apply.

- Permanent full-time position
- Average annual earnings of $180,000–$200,000+ plus super
- Base salary + penalties + night shift allowances + additional employee benefits

Who We're Looking For

You do not necessarily require a trade qualification; however, candidates with a Mechanical Fitter or similar mechanical background will be highly regarded.

To be successful you will have:

- Previous experience supervising shutdown or industrial maintenance crews




- Experience with industrial screen panel installations or fixed plant maintenance
- Strong understanding of panel fixing systems, alignments and side slate installation
- Knowledge of torque settings and mechanical fastening practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to identify practical solutions and keep shutdown work progressing safely
- Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor qualification
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space Entry
- Gas Testing
- Construction White Card
- Current Manual Driver's Licence
- Strong commitment to safety and quality

About the Role

You will lead crews undertaking shutdown maintenance on industrial screening equipment, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supervising industrial screen panel change-out crews
- Coordinating daily shutdown activities and work scopes
- Ensuring correct alignment of screen panel fixing systems
- Overseeing bolt-down panel installations and side slate replacement
- Verifying correct torque settings and installation procedures
- Providing practical solutions to overcome installation challenges during shutdowns
- Conducting pre-starts, toolbox meetings and safety interactions
- Completing project reporting and shutdown documentation
- Maintaining productivity, quality and client expectations throughout each shutdown
