This opportunity is with a thriving civil contractor in Sydney that has secured a strong pipeline of excavation and civil works associated with large-scale developments.
They are looking to appoint two Civil Engineers with approximately 12–18+ months of experience to assist in the delivery of projects across Sydney.
Ideally, you will have previous experience working with a civil subcontractor across bulk earthworks, detailed excavation or associated civil works, although candidates with other relevant civil construction experience will also be considered.
The Role Working alongside an experienced project team, you will be involved in:
- Day-to-day delivery of civil projects
- Coordinating and monitoring subcontractors
- Assisting with site planning, programming and project documentation
- Liaising with site supervisors, project managers and clients
- Working with Tier 2 and Tier 3 builders
- Monitoring progress, quality and project requirements
- Developing your commercial and project delivery experience
This is a fast-paced contractor setting,
so you will need to be adaptable, proactive and keen to learn. You will receive support from experienced people within the business while being given genuine responsibility as your capability develops.
Essential
- Minimum 12–18 months' civil construction experience
- Civil Engineering qualification
- Australian working rights
- Currently based in NSW
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a site-based project team
Experience in bulk earthworks, detailed excavation or civil subcontracting will be highly regarded. The company has work available now, a strong project pipeline and is looking to interview suitable candidates immediately, with an ASAP start available.
