About the role

Daylight Artistry is a family-owned business specialising in the installation of skylights and ventilation systems across Canberra and surrounding regions. We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Installation Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role working alongside our experienced installers, assisting with installations on residential and commercial properties.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting with skylight and ventilation installations
- Working alongside our experienced installation team
- Loading and unloading tools, equipment and materials
- Setting up and packing down job sites
- Assisting with roof and ceiling work
- Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Providing professional and respectful service while working in customers' homes

About you

- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work
- Comfortable working at heights and on roofs
- Physically fit and capable of manual work




- Positive attitude and willing to learn
- Takes pride in their workmanship and presentation
- Works well as part of a team
- Can follow instructions and use initiative
- Holds a current Australian driver's licence, White Card, Asbestos Awareness and Silica cards
- Previous experience in construction, roofing, carpentry, skylight installation or another trade environment would be highly regarded, but isn't essential for the right person
