Black Diamondz is looking for a talented Chinese-speaking content creator who can take an idea from concept to publication. This is a hands-on creative role for someone who can develop content ideas, write compelling Chinese copy, plan and film content, edit short-form videos and publish across leading Chinese social platforms. You will own the full content journey and turn exceptional properties, people and experiences into stories that audiences want to watch, share and act on.

Black Diamondz is a premium Australian property and lifestyle business working with local and international high-net-worth clients. Our work spans residential property, developments, brand collaborations, events and lifestyle experiences.

The Role

We are looking for more than a social media coordinator.

You will be a creative storyteller and hands-on video producer who understands how to capture attention, communicate clearly and build meaningful audience engagement. From property walkthroughs and interviews to events and lifestyle content, you will independently shape stories for Chinese-speaking audiences while maintaining the quality and presentation expected of the Black Diamondz brand.

What You’ll Do

- Manage and create content for WeChat, WeChat Channels, Xiaohongshu and Douyin.
- Develop weekly and monthly content strategies and calendars aligned with brand and commercial priorities.
- Write, edit and publish high-quality Chinese copy, including headlines, captions, scripts and platform-specific messaging.
- Film properties, residential developments, interviews, events, brand collaborations and lifestyle experiences.




- Plan productions through shot lists, scripts, storyboards and clear creative concepts.
- Independently edit polished short-form videos, including pacing, subtitles, music, transitions and basic visual effects.
- Adapt content for the format, audience and style of each platform rather than publishing the same content everywhere.
- Collaborate with the property, marketing, sales and leadership teams to identify stories, opportunities and upcoming campaigns.
- Monitor comments, messages, audience engagement and relevant enquiries, escalating opportunities to the appropriate team members.
- Review content performance and use insights to improve topics, formats, publishing schedules and audience growth.

About You

- Native or fluent Mandarin speaker with excellent written Chinese and strong cultural understanding.
- Strong working English, with the confidence to collaborate across an English-speaking business.
- At least two years of relevant experience in social media content, video production, digital media or a related creative role.
- Practical knowledge of WeChat, WeChat Channels, Xiaohongshu and Douyin, including the content styles and audience behaviours of each platform.
- Hands-on experience filming and independently editing short-form content.
- Proficiency with relevant editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent tools.




- Strong visual judgement and the ability to turn properties, interviews and experiences into clear, engaging stories.
- Proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership from the first idea through to the final published post.

Bonus Skills

Experience in premium property, real estate, lifestyle, hospitality or high-end consumer brands would be highly regarded but not required. Photography, graphic design, drone filming and experience using AI creative tools are also valuable, but none of these are mandatory.

Working Arrangements

This is a Sydney-based, full-time position combining office-based work with filming at properties, developments, events and other locations.

Some pre-coordinated evening or weekend filming may occasionally be required for events, interviews or time-sensitive content.
