About the Role

Elite Electrical Maintenance & Air Conditioning Pty Ltd is looking for a qualified Solar Technician / Electrician to join our growing team. Solar apprentices also welcome! This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrician who enjoys residential solar, battery systems and electrical work, and wants to work in a stress-free environment with a solid crew.

No micromanagement. Just good work, good customers and a team of blokes who love a laugh.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, turns up ready to work and knows how to get the job done properly.

Battery experience and accreditation/licensing is highly preferred, but we're also happy to speak with a strong solar electrician who is looking to expand their battery experience.

- $60 per hour – negotiable based on experience / Solar apprentices will be based on experience.

What You'll Do

Your role will primarily involve residential solar and electrical work, including:

- Solar PV installations
- Solar system commissioning and testing
- Residential battery installations
- Hybrid inverter installations
- Solar inverter replacements and upgrades
- Solar fault finding and diagnostics
- Solar maintenance and repairs
- Switchboard upgrades and modifications
- Electrical inspections and testing
- Customer handovers and system education
- Providing customers with professional advice and solutions
- Completing jobs to a high standard and in accordance with Australian Standards and relevant regulations

You'll be dealing directly with residential customers, so good communication and a professional attitude are important.

What You'll Need





- Current Queensland Electrical Licence (A-Grade)
- Solar experience – essential
- Battery installation experience highly preferred
- Battery accreditation/licensing highly desirable
- CEC accreditation highly desirable
- Valid Australian driver's licence
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of residential electrical systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Skilled presentation and customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual attitude

Bonus Points If You Have:

- Experience with Sungrow, GoodWe, Sigenergy
- Hybrid inverter experience
- Previous battery installation experience
- Experience with switchboard upgrades
- Working-at-heights experience
- Experience diagnosing existing/problematic solar systems
