Role Description

This full-time, on-site Solicitor / Senior Solicitor (Property and Commercial) role is based in Sydney, NSW. The role involves joining an award winning practice and managing a diverse caseload of property and commercial matters, including drafting and reviewing contracts, leases and related documentation, and advising clients on risk, compliance and transaction structures. Day-to-day work includes handling conveyancing files end-to-end, supporting real estate transactions and commercial transactions, and collaborating with colleagues on broader corporate and commercial issues.

The solicitor will liaise directly with clients, attend negotiations and settlements, and ensure accurate, timely file management and professional communication. The successful candidate will contribute to business development activities, maintain high professional and ethical standards, and support the firm’s commitment to innovative, client-focused legal services.

- Additional language skills are preferred but not necessary.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Law, with demonstrated experience as a practising solicitor in property and/or commercial matters.
- Proficiency in Conveyancing, including managing residential, off the plan and commercial transactions from instruction through to settlement.
- Proficiency in leasing, acquisitions, disposals and related property development issues.
- Proficiency in reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, share transactions and related transaction documents.
- Admission as a solicitor in an Australian jurisdiction and eligibility for, or current, practising certificate.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines, work collaboratively within a team, and maintain client-focused, clear communication.
