About the RoleAs a Mortgage Broker Assistant / Loan Processor, you'll be trained across every part of the broking process, from application through to settlement. Working closely with experienced brokers and the wider team.In your first year, you'll build deep operational knowledge and take ownership of pipeline management and client relationship coordination. From there,



years two and three shift toward sales, winning and retaining business, referral-partner networking, and developing genuine broker-level skills — setting you up to make the move into broking yourself.This role is based primarily in the Shire, with the option to work across the business's second location. It's a fast-paced environment, and during busy periods or urgent client matters, some work beyond standard hours may be required — this is a business that moves quickly for its clients, and you'll move with it.

Who We're Looking For

- Banking exposure is essential — backgrounds in branch banking, business banking assistance, or similar are ideal; mortgage broking experience is a bonus but not required
- A genuine, long-term motivation to become a mortgage broker — this is a minimum three-year development journey, not a stepping stone to a quick promotion elsewhere
- Solid drive, initiative, and a track record of investing in your own development (courses, study, industry knowledge) rather than relying solely on employer training
- A fast learner who can pick up new information and apply it under pressure
- Ethical, values-driven, and reliable — someone the team and clients can trust
- Comfortable with occasional early starts or extra hours during high-volume or urgent periods
