What you will do
As rostering officer, you will help plan and maintain staff rosters for Loddon Region Prisons. You will keep records accurate and respond to changing staffing needs.
You will:
- develop and publish accurate fortnightly rosters up to six weeks ahead
- adjust rosters for leave, absences and changing operational needs
- maintain confidential employee and rostering information in TimeTarget and other systems
- check timesheets, resolve rostering issues and prepare reports for managers
- provide clear rostering advice and refer complex matters to your team leader.
About you
A qualification in human resources, finance or business administration is highly desirable. It is not listed as mandatory.
You should also have:
- rostering system experience, such as TimeTarget, Humanforce or Kronos
- knowledge of awards and agreements and how they apply to staff rosters
- rostering, human resources or payroll knowledge, with strong Excel and data skills
- problem-solving skills, flexibility and the ability to work well with others.
