About the role:
As an Education Consultant, you will support the development and continuous improvement of education and training programs across Victoria Police. As part of a small, collaborative team, you will work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create learning products, provide specialist advice, and contribute to a range of education projects and initiatives.
The role combines instructional design, consultation and project work to help ensure education programs remain contemporary, practical and aligned with organisational needs. You will apply contemporary learning practices, maintain education resources and contribute to initiatives that support training across Victoria Police.
This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, helping shape education programs and resources that support Victoria Police employees across the organisation.

Your duties will include:
- Consulting with internal and external stakeholders on education and training initiatives.
- Working with subject matter experts to develop learning products that support operational policing.
- Developing and maintaining education, assessment and learner support materials.
- Collaborating with colleagues on projects and initiatives across the learning and development portfolio.
- Researching contemporary learning practices and applying them to education programs.
About you:
You will bring experience in education and training, along with a passion for developing learning products that support organisational outcomes. You will be confident working collaboratively, contributing to projects and taking responsibility for delivering high-quality work.
Essential requirements
- Experience developing education and training resources, supported by a strong understanding of learning and development principles.
- Well-developed communication and consultation skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, subject matter experts and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgement and contribute to project outcomes in a dynamic setting.
Desirable requirements
- Experience within a Registered Training Organisation or the vocational education and training sector.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) and/or a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
Further Information:
- One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
- This position is located at the Victoria Police Academy, Glen Waverley.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
- The successful applicant must be qualified in Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent or qualify within 12 months.
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
