High Country Campus Operations Coordinator - Lead, live and learn in a beautiful and unique school environment!
Redlands is seeking a highly organised, collaborative and operationally astute leader to join our High Country Campus as Operations Coordinator. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day leadership of our residential and experiential learning environment, supporting students and staff to thrive in a safe, connected and purposeful campus community.
About the Role
Working closely with the Head of High Country Campus, the Learning and Wellbeing Coordinators, the Secondary School Leadership Team and other key staff, the High Country Campus (HCC) Operations Coordinator plays a central role in leading the operational rhythm of the HCC. The role supports the effective delivery of the Moonbah and Winter School programs, including the Thredbo program, and helps ensure a positive residential experience for students and staff.
The position includes responsibility for staff rostering, transport logistics, risk and safety compliance, emergency and critical incident procedures, campus operations, catering oversight and community engagement, additionally, as a member of the HCC Leadership Team, the Operations Coordinator contributes to a cooperative leadership structure and helps build a culture of care, accountability and continuous improvement.
This role carries an approximate 0.6FTE teaching/program load and is well suited to an educator or leader who enjoys the balance of operational leadership, student engagement and community connection within a residential campus setting.

- A Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification.
- Strong organisational capability, sound judgement and the ability to lead people, systems and daily operations with warmth, clarity and professionalism.
- The ability to lead, support and coordinate staff in a residential or student-centred environment.
- Strong operational planning skills, including experience managing rosters, logistics, competing priorities and time-sensitive decisions.
- A calm, proactive and solutions-focused approach to risk, safety and critical incident readiness.
- Highly developed communication, consultation and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, families, colleagues, external providers and the local community.
- High levels of professionalism, discretion and care when managing confidential or sensitive information.
- A genuine commitment to child safety, wellbeing, inclusion and the School's Vision, Mission and Values.
- Strong digital confidence and the ability to work effectively across operational systems and communication platforms.
