Your Opportunity
As a Training & Assessment Officer within our Program Assurance Team, you'll play a pivotal role in developing the capability, confidence and success of our Employment Services workforce.
Working across all government-funded programs, including Workforce Australia (WFA), Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA), Transition to Work (TtW) and Parent Pathways (PP), you'll deliver engaging training and assessment activities that equip employees with the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed in their roles and deliver quality outcomes for participants, employers and communities.
You'll facilitate initial program training for new employees, assess competency, support ongoing capability development and help ensure our workforce remains skilled, compliant and confident in delivering services across a complex and evolving employment services landscape.
This is a highly collaborative role that works closely with employees, Team Leaders, Managers and subject matter experts across multiple programs and locations to identify capability needs, deliver targeted learning solutions and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
This position offers hybrid working arrangements and is classified under the SCHADS Award Level 3, Pay Point 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging training and assessment programs that build employee capability, confidence and performance.
- Facilitate learning through a combination of face-to-face and virtual training delivery.
- Assess competency and provide coaching and feedback to support employee development and role readiness.
- Develop, maintain and improve training resources, learning materials and assessment tools.
- Monitor training and competency requirements to support compliance and quality service delivery.
- Partner with leaders and stakeholders to identify capability needs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience within Employment Services, with a strong understanding of government-funded programs, compliance requirements and service delivery expectations.
- Demonstrated experience delivering training, facilitating learning, coaching and assessing workforce capability.
- Robust stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and locations.
- High attention to detail, strong administrative skills and experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital learning technologies and business systems.
- Full work rights in Australia, with the ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
