Auscoast Builders is a leading building company specialising in large-loss insurance roofing repairs, predominantly focusing on storm damage to metal roofs.

We work directly with homeowners, managing the repair process from contract through to completion, coordinating our network of trades and working directly with the customer to deliver a quality outcome.

We're seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and support our Site Team in delivering large-loss insurance roof replacement projects across QLD and NSW.

The Role

You won't be on the tools in this role. As a Construction Manager, you'll lead and support a team of Site Supervisors, helping them keep their jobs progressing, navigate challenges and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Based at our Arundel Head Office, you'll oversee your Supervisors' portfolios, monitor job progress and commercial performance, and step in to support with escalated customers, trade issues and complex jobs when needed.

This is predominantly an office-based leadership role, but you'll remain connected to what's happening on the ground, with occasional site visits and travel required when needed.

No two days will look exactly the same, but your key responsibilities will include:

- Leading a team of Site Supervisors, providing guidance, problem-solving support and accountability to keep jobs progressing.

- Overseeing large-loss insurance repairs, predominantly storm-damaged metal roof replacements.

- Handle escalated customer, trade and job-related issues through to resolution.

- Assess & report on property damages.

- Supporting the sourcing of trades to ensure works are delivered on time and to our quality and safety standards.

- Monitoring budgets, revenue performance and cost control across your team's portfolio.

- Running weekly Work in Progress (WIP) meetings with Supervisors to review project status, identify roadblocks and drive job progression.

- Supporting the recruitment,



onboarding and development of Site Supervisors as the team continues to grow.

What We’re Looking For:

- Proven leadership experience managing and developing a team, ideally within construction or insurance repairs.

- Strong knowledge of building practices, roofing systems and repair processes.

- Experience managing multiple projects, trades and subcontractors.

- Strong understanding of building codes, WHS and compliance requirements.

- QBCC Supervisor Licence (or ability to obtain).

- Certificate IV in Building & Construction and/or trade qualification highly regarded.

- Customer Service, Safety, Technology and Quality are critical to the role. The right applicant will understand the importance of each and excel in all of them.
