We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our team and support our growing operations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being in the field, engaging with our workforce and working closely with supervisors, employees and clients to maintain high standards of health, safety, environment and quality.

About the Role

As an HSEQ Advisor, you will support our operational teams and projects by providing practical HSEQ advice, coaching and assurance. You will play an important role in maintaining ARRA's HSEQ systems while ensuring our people understand and meet both ARRA and client requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Providing HSEQ advice, support and coaching to supervisors and employees

- Conducting site inspections, audits, risk assessments and field safety interactions

- Supporting incident and hazard reporting, investigations and corrective actions

- Reviewing and assisting with JHAs/JHAs, SWMS, risk assessments and other HSEQ documentation

- Supporting mobilisation and verification of employee HSEQ competencies and requirements

- Monitoring compliance with ARRA, client and legislative requirements

- Supporting toolbox meetings, pre-starts and safety initiatives

- Assisting with HSEQ reporting, statistics, registers and action tracking

- Supporting continuous improvement of ARRA's HSEQ Management System

- Building a positive safety culture through robust field engagement and visible leadership

What We're Looking For

- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety – minimum requirement

- Diploma of Work Health and Safety or higher – highly regarded





- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – desirable

- Minimum 5 years' relevant HSEQ experience, preferably within mining, resources, construction or heavy industry

- Demonstrated experience providing practical HSEQ advice, coaching and support to operational teams

- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, risk management and incident investigation

- Experience working within client HSEQ systems and site requirements

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage personnel at all levels

- High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate HSEQ records

- Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence

- National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one

- Ability to travel to operational/project sites as required

- A genuine commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement

Experience working within major mining or resources environments will be highly regarded.
