About the role

The Senior Corporate Finance & Payroll Officer will be responsible for the finance, banking and payroll administration of the Group's corporate entity. This role supports a large group of businesses and will work closely with senior executives, business units and the broader corporate finance team.

Key responsibilities

- Responsible for the financial reporting for the Group corporate entity with an overhead base of $30m

- Complete month end reporting for the corporate entity within 3 days, reporting to budget and forecast

- Assist with Group reporting and involvement in group reporting and projects when required

- Provide commercial, financial and decision support to key internal stakeholders

- Manage various intercompany recharges

- Manage banking needs for business units – payment approval, set up new accounts, users, credit cards

- Manage major cost centres including corporate payroll function which currently has around 140 employees

- Monthly salary pay cycle (Currently outsourced to ADP but we plan to bring that in house).





- Executive payroll; senior business managers and finance teams. Handling highly sensitive information.

- Maintain employee payroll records and master data, including new starters, terminations, salary changes, leave and deductions.

- Process and reconcile superannuation payments in compliance with Payday Super requirements.

- Process payroll cost recharges to other Group's businesses.

About you

- CA (or equivalent) qualified

- Experienced in Corporate Finance working in a corporate team on sensitive areas including executive payroll and group banking

- Proficient in dealing with sensitive information

- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to work directly with CEO and CFO

- Excellent communication skills

- Experienced at processing payroll

- Strong excel skills

- Self-starter who can work independently with a high level of initiative

- Willingness to be involved and do tasks as necessary

- Able to work in a rapid pace environment and on different projects
