We are partnering with a long-established and highly regarded Gold Coast locksmith business that is growing its team and looking for experienced locksmiths to join its operation.

With opportunities for both a Workshop Manager and Mobile Locksmiths, we are looking for people at different stages of their careers - from experienced tradespeople through to those ready to step into workshop leadership.

The Workshop Manager

- Salary negotiable depending on experience level
- Monday-to-Friday, 100% workshop-based position with no weekend work.
- Relocation support available & sign on bonus

This role is approximately 50% hands-on locksmithing and 50% leadership. You will oversee workshop workflow, job allocation and quality while mentoring a growing apprentice team and remaining technically involved.

You'll also assist with quotations, customer enquiries, stock, purchasing and technical support.

This would suit an experienced locksmith who enjoys being on the tools but wants greater responsibility and the opportunity to lead a workshop and develop the next generation of locksmiths.

Mobile Locksmiths - Multiple positions
Paying up to $60 per hour, depending on experience and capability.
You'll have a dedicated take-home work van and operate autonomously across the Gold Coast and surrounding areas, supported by an established workshop team.





The work is predominantly residential and small business, with automotive, smart-lock and growing commercial/access-control work also available.

Automotive capability is highly regarded but isn't essential.

For locksmiths with automotive skills who want additional earning potential, there is also an optional after-hours roster with vetted call-outs, overtime and additional commission.

Applicant requirements
We don't expect every applicant to have the same background.
We are interested in speaking with 3rd-year apprentices through to senior qualified locksmiths, including people with experience in:

- Residential and commercial locksmithing
- Automotive key cutting and programming
- Restricted key systems
- Smart locks
- Electronic security/access control
- Workshop supervision or team leadership

Mobile applicants will require a manual driver's licence and the ability to work autonomously while providing a high standard of customer service.

For the Workshop Manager position, you will need to be an experienced locksmith capable of providing technical guidance, coordinating a workshop and supporting the development of apprentices.

Interstate locksmiths are strongly encouraged to apply.
