Senior Head of Design, Estimating & Business Development

Win work. Shape the future of the business. We're seeking a commercially sharp, senior electrical contracting professional to lead our Design, Estimating and Business Development functions. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a genuine leadership role with real influence over strategy and growth and not just another estimating position.

What you'll do:

- Lead Design, Estimating and Business Development, partnering with the MD on growth strategy
- You'll lead a team of two, own major tenders end-to-end, and build the relationships that keep the pipeline full.
- Build relationships with builders, developers and consultants to generate recent opportunities
- Lead and mentor a two-person Design & Estimating team Oversee electrical design for compliance, buildability and value




- Protect margins and report on tender performance and profitability

What you'll bring:

- Senior-level experience in electrical contracting and construction in the commercial and fit out space
- Strong electrical trade and/or engineering background
- Extensive estimating and tendering experience, including team leadership Strong commercial acumen and business development track record
- Confidence with complex drawings, specs and contracts
- NSW electrical licensing and relevant qualifications highly regarded
