This is a Community & Lifestyle Support Worker role at Thrive to Life. Support is about experiencing life, building confidence and creating meaningful connections. Participants engage in art & creative classes, music, yoga & wellbeing, cooking, Melbourne day trips & exploring recent places, cafés, social experiences & community activities.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver support in accordance with NDIS requirements
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and communication
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Support participants to engage in community activities and experiences
About you
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or a related qualification
- Previous experience working with people with disability is highly regarded
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Kind, positive, creative and genuinely passionate about helping people get more out of life
