Kiama Bowling & Recreation Club is seeking a 1st Year Greenkeeper Apprentice to join the team and report to the Head Greenkeeper. The role involves maintaining the greens to an excellent playing standard across 2.5 bowling greens along with large outdoor gardens and recreational areas.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the greens to an excellent playing standard
- Operate and maintain all equipment ensuring timely servicing and repairs
- Apply chemicals and fertilizers
- Assist the Head Greenkeeper with odd jobs as required
About you
- Physically fit
- Own or reliable transport
- Willingness to learn
- Passion for the excellent outdoors
- Good attention to detail
- Enrolled in Certificate III in Sports Turf Management
