HSEQ Lead – Sydney & NSW

$170K + Super + Company Car | Approx. $210K Package

We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Lead to oversee HSEQ performance across Sydney, Wollongong and regional NSW.

This is a senior leadership role where you will lead and mentor a team of HSEQ Advisors while partnering with Project Managers and senior leaders to drive HSEQ performance, culture and continuous improvement.

The Role

- Lead and mentor a team of HSEQ Advisors across NSW
- Drive HSEQ, risk, quality and environmental performance across projects
- Conduct site inspections, audits and incident investigations
- Identify trends and implement targeted improvement initiatives
- Support compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
- Partner with project teams and senior management to drive positive safety culture
- Provide guidance across risk assessments, SWMS, HSEQ plans and tenders
- Travel across Sydney, Wollongong and regional NSW as required

About You




- Previous experience in an HSEQ leadership role within construction, remediation or a high-risk environment
- Robust knowledge of HSEQ legislation, compliance and management systems
- Strong risk management and audit experience
- Proven ability to lead, influence and drive change
- Understanding of Quality and Environmental Management Systems
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- Willingness to travel throughout NSW

Highly regarded: Tier 1 - 2 construction, multistorey/CBD, remediation, fuel, concrete/steel remediation, Defence and OFSC experience.
