Where you'll be working
You will be working across three offices based at St Leonards, Hornsby and Brookvale.
What you'll be doing
The purpose of the Youth Drug and Alcohol Allied Health Professional is to provide comprehensive assessment and holistic support throughout a patient's episode of care.
The Youth Drug and Alcohol Allied Health Professional is a niche role requiring a high level of skill and expertise with respect to Youth with Drug and Alcohol issues and their families.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
1. Experience, or an interest in widening your practise by gaining experience, in working with adolescents and / or the Drug and Alcohol field.
2. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Allied Health Counselling?
Senior Psychologists must have a three-year degree in psychology with a fourth-year honours in psychology.
3. For Social Work, experience as a Level 2 clinician and eligibility for membership of AASW.
4. Occupational Therapists must have current AHPRA registration and experience as a Level 2 clinician.
Counsellors must have a three-year degree in Counselling and experience as a Level 2 clinician with membership of either PACFA or ACA.
5. Able to work with minimal supervision and enjoy being part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
