We are looking for an experienced and reliable Kitchenhand / Kitchen Assistant / Cook to join our busy kitchen team.

About the role

Working alongside our chefs and kitchen team, your duties will include:

- Assisting with preparation and cooking of meals

- Cooking basic menu items as required

- Preparing ingredients for service

- Assisting chefs during busy lunch and dinner services

- Plating and presenting meals

- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

- Keeping workstations clean, organised and well stocked

- Assisting with stock rotation and storage

- General kitchen cleaning and other duties as required

About you

To be successful, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience working in a busy commercial kitchen

- Basic cooking skills and confidence with food preparation

- The ability to work efficiently during busy service periods

- Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene

- A reliable and hardworking attitude

- The ability to follow instructions and work well within a team

- Good communication and time-management skills

- Availability to work a adaptable roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
