About the role

Full time temporary employment for 6 months project based in Merriwa NSW. You will be collecting and transporting multiple waste streams including general waste, cardboard, plastics, and recyclables, operating and maintaining modern, well-equipped vehicles, and working safely on active commercial sites alongside heavy vehicles and machinery.

Key responsibilities

- Collecting and transporting multiple waste streams including general waste, cardboard, plastics, and recyclables

- Operating and maintaining modern, well-equipped vehicles

- Completing daily pre-start checks, safety documentation, and required paperwork





- Working safely on active commercial sites alongside heavy vehicles and machinery

- Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements and National Heavy Vehicle Regulations

- Maintaining a professional appearance and a clean, organized work environment

About you

- A valid HC license, Heavy Combination

- Strong knowledge of transport safety and compliance

- Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management

- Experience driving Hook Lift and Truck & Trailer combinations is preferred

- Waste management experience is advantageous but not essential
