The Role
Are you looking to grow your career in inventory and supply chain? Join our team as a Stock Controller and play a hands-on role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
You'll take ownership of maintaining accurate stock levels, supporting inventory tracking, and contributing to the productive flow of materials and finished goods, all while building practical experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
This role is split between inventory systems and warehouse-floor activities. You’ll spend part of your day working with our ERP system, inventory records, reconciliations and reporting, and the other part on the warehouse floor conducting stock checks, cycle counts, investigating discrepancies and ensuring stock is correctly managed.
This role is well suited to someone earlier in their career who is ready to hit the ground running and grow with a supportive team.
This role operates on the afternoon shift, from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for the following core areas:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across the facility
- Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile physical inventory with ERP/system records
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or expired stock
- Liaise with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to support timely stock replenishment
- Track and report on inventory KPIs (e.g., stock turnover, shrinkage, expiry)
- Support inbound and outbound logistics by managing inventory movements and stock allocation
- Maintain accurate records for traceability, especially for perishable goods and batch-controlled items
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP)
- Assist with stocktakes and prepare audit-ready inventory reports
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a stock control, stores, or warehouse role
- Demonstrated ability to perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory records
- Experience using an ERP or inventory management system (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Pronto, or similar)
- Solid understanding of FIFO, FEFO principles and stock rotation practices
- Knowledge of batch traceability and perishable goods handling
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Familiarity with food safety requirements including HACCP and GMP
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise across teams
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in cold chain or perishable goods handling.
- Certificate or diploma in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field.
- Forklift licence
