We're looking for a passionate and experienced Service Manager to join our dynamic John Deere team in Mackay.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Service Manager, you will:

- Efficiently manage and direct all aspects of workshop operations

- Ensure the highest level of service is provided to our customer base

- Deliver key performance indicators including productivity, efficiency, rework, WIP and billing cycle performance

- Lead, coach and develop a team of workshop employees

- Provide leadership, guidance and training to the service team

- Continuously develop and implement strategies to improve maintenance and service effectiveness

- Deliver expert service and support to customers and partners across the region

- Contribute to a culture of safety, innovation and continuous improvement





What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

- Has extensive experience in a management position within a heavy machinery workshop environment

- Demonstrates strong leadership capability and a passion for developing people

- Has proven experience building positive relationships with customers, colleagues and management

- Possesses strong communication and motivational skills

- Has experience managing budgets and financial performance

- Can evaluate operational performance and respond to changing business needs

- Has robust computer and administrative skills

- Is safety-conscious, solutions-focused and committed to continuous improvement

- Takes ownership, drives results and leads by example
