About the role:

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic educators to join our School Holiday Care team, including an experienced Team Leader and Casual Educators.

Our in-house vacation care program is based at the Rise & Shine Education Head Office in Kogarah, NSW, providing school-aged children with a fun, engaging and safe holiday experience.

We are looking for educators who are available Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm during NSW school holiday periods. Hours may be adjusted depending on availability.

As a Leader, you will:

- Lead and support a team of casual educators to deliver a high-quality school holiday program
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the program
- Create a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment for school-aged children
- Coordinate and support daily activities, programs and excursions




- Build solid and positive relationships with children, families and educators
- Ensure appropriate supervision, safety and wellbeing of all children
- Support educators and provide guidance throughout the program
- Lead by example and contribute to a positive, respectful and inclusive team culture

As a casual educator, you will:

- Provide high-quality, fun and engaging care to school-aged children
- Supervise children and ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times
- Participate in planned activities, programs and excursions across Sydney
- Encourage children to get involved, have fun and build new skills
- Build positive and meaningful relationships with children and families
- Work collaboratively with the team to create a calm, inclusive and enjoyable environment
- Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to make each school holiday program memorable

About You:

We’re looking for people who are:

- Energetic, enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about working with children
- Caring, responsible and committed to providing high-quality care
- Confident communicators who enjoy working as part of a team
- Reliable and flexible with availability during school holiday periods
- Creative and enthusiastic about planning and participating in activities
- Confident in creating fun and engaging experiences for school-aged children

For the Team Leader position, you will ideally have:

- Previous leadership or Team Leader experience




- Experience working with school-aged children and/or in vacation care
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to confidently lead and support a team

You will also have:

- A valid Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education, School Age Education or a related field is desirable but not essential
