Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturer based in Richlands. Due to ongoing production requirements, they are seeking multiple Machine Operators to join their team on an ongoing casual basis.
About the Role
This is a hands-on production role working as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be operating machinery, completing quality checks, assisting with line operations and helping ensure production targets are met safely and efficiently.
Duties include:
- Operating and monitoring production machinery
- Loading raw materials onto the line
- Running labelling and packaging equipment
- Completing quality checks and inspections
- Recording production information
- Assisting with machine changeovers and troubleshooting
- Cleaning machinery and work areas
- Manual handling and rework duties when required
- Following safety and quality procedures
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
Full training will be provided.
Hours & Roster
This is an ongoing casual role offering consistent full-time hours on a rotating day and night shift roster. Shifts are 12 hours in length and operate within a 24/7 production environment. Applicants must be available to work both day and night shifts and be comfortable working a rotating roster.
What We're Looking For
- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operating or process work experience preferred
- FMCG experience highly regarded but not essential
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
- Able to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 25kg
- Willing to assist with cleaning and housekeeping duties
- Able to work rotating day and night shifts
- Safety-focused with a positive attitude
- Willing to learn and be part of a team
A forklift licence is advantageous but not required.
