We’re looking for a reliable and safety-focused Bar Processing Operator to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with reinforcing steel, operating machinery to cut, bend and prepare materials used in construction projects.

You’ll be part of a supportive team, with training provided and opportunities to develop your skills while contributing to a safe, efficient and quality-focused workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely bending, cutting and preparing steel bar to meet daily production requirements and customer orders.

- Operate machinery including bandsaws and bending machines

- Conduct first-off inspections to ensure product quality and compliance

- Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free work environment

- Identify and report hazards, risks, or safety concerns

- Work collaboratively with the team and communicate with the Leading Hand regarding production and material needs

- Record any machine or production issues that may impact output

About You





- Previous experience in a manufacturing or processing workplace

- Experience operating machinery (bandsaw, bending equipment preferred)

- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment

- Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes
