Key responsibilities

- Preparing substrates — grinding, priming, patching and detailing

- Applying liquid, sheet and torch-on membrane systems

- Waterproofing basements, wet areas, balconies, planter boxes, roof slabs, tanks and window reveals

- Installing bond breakers, fillets, flashings and sealants to spec

- Running flood tests and getting hold points signed off

- Working to manufacturer specs, the NCC, AS 3740 and AS 4654

- Keeping photographic records for compliance

About you

- Solid waterproofing experience — commercial work preferred

- Certificate III in Waterproofing, or equivalent trade experience we can verify

- Current White Card

- Current driver licence and your own transport

- Your own standard hand tools

- The ability to read a spec and a drawing, and to work unsupervised on your own section

- A safety-first attitude — no shortcuts

- EWP ticket, working at heights, confined space, remedial or below-ground tanking experience (desirable)
