The Opportunity:

Are you ready to start your mornings making a practical difference in people’s homes and communities? As our Support at Home services continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our supportive multidisciplinary team in a community-based role across Melbourne’s South East Region. You will partner with consumers, families and Care Partners to understand each person’s goals, assess functional ability and deliver practical, person-centred interventions that promote safety, confidence and independence.

In this role, every day brings the chance to create meaningful change — from recommending home modifications and assistive technology to supporting positive rehabilitative outcomes that help people live well, stay connected and reach their full potential.

Essential:

- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to practise with the National Board.
- Current First Aid certificate and CPR certificate.
- Experience completing occupational therapy assessments and delivering practical interventions with individuals and families.
- A genuine interest in supporting older people living in the community to remain safe, independent and connected.
- Confidence providing interventions that maximise independence, wellbeing and quality of life.




- Strong communication, planning, organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
- The ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with consumers, families, colleagues and external partners.
- Sound IT skills and confidence using databases and digital systems.
- A current driver’s licence.

A bonus if you have:

- Membership with Occupational Therapy Australia.
- Knowledge of Support at Home and other community services in the aged care sector.
- Experience with brokerage models of service and Consumer Directed Care.
