We are seeking a Nursery Assistant with garden or horticulture experience or interest. The role involves working in a nursery producing plant stock for our landscaping team.
Outdoor work with undercover work when propagating and potting up.
Full-time or permanent part time with school friendly hours if needed.
Job tasks and responsibilities:
- Nursery maintenance including: pruning and weeding
- Treatment of weeds and pests
- Planting trees, shrubs, and annuals
- Watering plants
What you'll need to be successful:
- Have a positive attitude
- Display initiative and self-motivation
- Be punctual, reliable, and presentable
- Work unsupervised
- Strong attention to detail
