Long Jetty Caravan Park is looking to add to our team with two practical and varied positions.

Park Operations Coordinator – a full-time position focused on reception, administration, guest service, housekeeping, cleaning and general park operations.

Park Services – a part-time or casual position focused on grounds, gardening, general maintenance and keeping the park looking great.

You can apply for either position individually, or couples are very welcome to apply for both positions together where you have complementary skills.

PARK OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

Full-time

This is a varied, hands-on role covering reception, administration, guest service, housekeeping, cleaning and general park operations.

Working closely with our Operations Manager and wider team, you will help ensure the park runs smoothly and our guests have a great experience.

Reception & Administration

- Welcoming guests and providing friendly service.

- Managing enquiries by phone, email and in person.

- Assisting with bookings, arrivals and departures.

- Using Newbook and other computer systems.

- General office administration, payments and guest accounts.

- Responding to guest requests and helping resolve issues.

Housekeeping, Cleaning & Quality

- Coordinating daily housekeeping requirements.

- Checking cabins, amenities and common areas.

- Helping maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

- Supporting our casual cleaning team.

- Undertaking cleaning when required, particularly during busy periods and changeovers.

- Preparing accommodation for arriving guests.

- Identifying maintenance or presentation issues and ensuring they are followed up.

This is a combination of guest service, coordination,



quality control and practical housekeeping, rather than a dedicated cleaning position.

Park Operations & Guest Experience

- Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the park.

- Helping coordinate daily priorities.

- Working with the Park Services team.

- Monitoring the presentation of the park and facilities.

- Assisting with safety, stock and general operational requirements.

- Supporting contractors and suppliers when required.

- Assisting with school holiday activities, Easter egg hunts, Christmas celebrations, family activities and other seasonal events.

There may also be opportunities to assist with social media, photography and content creation.

PARK SERVICES

Part-time or Casual

This is a practical role focused on keeping the park clean, tidy, well maintained and looking its best.

Working with the Operations Manager and Park Operations Coordinator, you will help look after the grounds, facilities and general presentation of the park.

The work may include:

- Mowing and general lawn maintenance.

- Gardening, weeding and pruning.

- Keeping gardens, paths and common areas tidy.

- General grounds and park maintenance.

- Basic handyman jobs and minor repairs.

- Helping maintain cabins, amenities and other park facilities.

- Emptying bins and general park services.

- Helping prepare the park for busy periods and holidays.

- Identifying maintenance issues and letting the team know what needs attention.

- Keeping tools and equipment clean and organised.

- Assisting with general park duties as required.

This is a hands-on position and would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors,



is practical and takes pride in keeping a property looking good.

Experience in gardening, grounds maintenance, handyman work or general maintenance is an advantage, but most importantly we are looking for someone who is reliable, practical and willing to get stuck in.

SINGLES OR COUPLES WELCOME

We are deliberately open to individual applicants or couples.

For the Park Operations Coordinator, good computer skills and experience in hospitality, accommodation, tourism or administration are highly regarded. Experience with Newbook is an advantage, although training will be provided.

For Park Services, experience in grounds, gardening, maintenance or handyman work is preferred.

PART OF A TWO-PARK TEAM

Long Jetty Caravan Park operates alongside Wilsons Prom Holiday Park, with the two properties working together as one team.

You will become part of a broader operation, sharing knowledge, resources and support across both properties where required.
