As an Apprentice your main duties will include:
General fabrication and welding
Measuring, cutting, and working with aluminum, stainless steel and galvanized materials
Machine operating
Grinding, cleaning, and general preparation of surfaces
General repairs and maintenance of products
Following WHS policies and procedures
Attend RTO and maintain a high standard of work
Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
What we’re looking for:
Willing to learn, take direction and follow instructions
Reliable, punctual and committed to their apprenticeship
A strong communicator who works well with others
Organised, with good time management skills
Mechanically minded with strong mathematical aptitude
Proactive, safety conscious and committed to maintaining a clean and safe workplace
Willing and able to complete daily safety documentation
Courteous and skilled at all times
Holds a current Driver Licence and reliable transport
As part of the recruitment process, suitable applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical testing, including drug and alcohol screening.
