Position
An exciting prospect is available for an experienced Truck Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Technician to join a growing commercial vehicle business based in Melbourne's northern suburbs.
Working in a modern workshop environment, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs of a diverse range of heavy vehicles. You'll work alongside an experienced team of technicians and have access to up-to-date workshop facilities, diagnostic equipment and ongoing technical support.
Carry out scheduled servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy vehicles.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
Perform inspections and fault-finding using modern diagnostic equipment.
Work across a variety of truck makes and models.
Maintain high standards of safety, workmanship and customer service.
Work as part of a supportive and experienced workshop team.
Candidate
We're looking for a qualified and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic who takes pride in their work and enjoys working with trucks and modern vehicle technology.
You will ideally have:
Relevant Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic trade qualification.
Previous experience working on trucks or heavy commercial vehicles.
Robust diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
