Troocoo is partnering with a well established not for profit organisation to recruit a Senior Payroll Officer based in Murarrie. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will manage end to end payroll processing, with a focus on payroll governance, compliance, reporting and continuous improvement across a complex workforce.

Key ResponsibilitiesYou will play a key role in maintaining payroll accuracy and integrity, while providing advice across employee entitlements, reporting and payroll related matters.
Manage end to end fortnightly payroll processing
Interpret awards, enterprise agreements and employment conditions
Manage payroll reconciliations, superannuation and salary packaging
Maintain payroll controls, compliance and audit requirements
Provide technical payroll advice to employees and managers
Support payroll process improvement and automation
About You
You will be confident working autonomously, managing competing deadlines and resolving complex payroll matters, with a robust eye for detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
Minimum five years of end to end payroll experience
Experience within a medium to large or complex workforce, ideally 500+ employees
Robust award and enterprise agreement interpretation experience
Sound knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation and STP
Advanced Excel skills
ELMO, PayRTA or similar payroll system experience highly regarded
