About the role
We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Comuna Cantina City. As a Cook, you will be responsible for providing high-quality food, excellent culinary skills, and ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery of meals. This is a full-time role based at our City location.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and cooking a range of dishes in accordance with recipes and business standards.
Ensuring food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard.
Assisting with menu implementation and daily food preparation requirements.
Monitoring food quality, portion control and minimising waste.
Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with relevant regulations.
Storing and handling food appropriately and monitoring stock levels.
Assisting with ordering and stock rotation.
Working effectively within a busy kitchen environment.

What we're looking for:
At least 1 year of relevant full time work experience as a Cook; or
A relevant Certificate III qualification (or equivalent); or
A combination of relevant training and experience.
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.




Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.
