Mathews Quality Meats is looking for a reliable and experienced Casual Butcher to join our team at our St Clair store.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated butcher who takes pride in quality workmanship. This is a casual position with the opportunity for regular hours for the right person.

Key responsibilities:
Cutting, trimming and preparing meat to a high standard
Preparing displays and maintaining presentation standards
Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements
Keeping the work area clean, organised and well maintained
Working effectively as part of a small team

About You
Previous butchery experience necessary
Valuable knife skills and knowledge of meat preparation
Robust attention to detail
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Friendly and professional with customers
Able to work independently and as part of a team




Food Safety knowledge is an advantage
Weekend Availability is necessary, you will have the choice of a Saturday or Sunday shift
