Job Description

At Guzman y Gomez, we believe in authentic flavors and the power of food to bring people together. As a Cook at GYG, you will be at the heart of our mission to serve up the best Mexican food experience. Following the GYG recipe guide, your role will see you working with fresh ingredients and vibrant Mexican flavors, delivering quality creations for our new and loyal guests.

What You'll Do

Here's what a shift looks like for you:
Cook fresh, top quality food according to our recipe guides and portion standards
Keep the line stocked and ready, so service never slows down
Prep fresh ingredients throughout the day, right up until close
Keep your station clean, safe and tidy at all times
Follow all food safety rules so every meal is safe to eat




Work closely with the team to keep orders flowing rapid
Operate kitchen gear like the grill, fryer, pans and knives/cutting equipement safely
Jump in and problem solve when things get busy
