AMCS is currently seeking to recruit an
Vietnamese / English speaking volunteer to visit an older person in Sunshine North in the Multicultural Visiting Program.
The Role:
Spend time as a companion to someone experiencing social isolation. Share your stories, laughs and journey and learn from someone with a world of experience
Develop friendships by visiting people in their homes or residential home, going on outings, helping with shopping, playing games, listening to music, watching movies, creating art, reading books or newspapers or simply talking
Help to ensure your companion is seen and heard. You are truly changing someone’s life by being there for support
