About the Role:
As an HR Consultant, you will partner closely with clients and managers throughout the performance review process. You will attend performance review meetings, provide guidance on best-practice approaches, and support leaders in managing performance conversations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Attend and support performance review meetings with clients and their employees
Provide practical HR guidance before, during and following performance discussions
Coach managers on how to approach challenging or sensitive performance conversations
Support performance improvement plans and ongoing performance management processes
Ensure performance matters are managed fairly, consistently and appropriately
Act as a trusted HR advisor to clients and key stakeholders
Build strong relationships with managers and business leaders
Provide pragmatic advice across a range of people and performance matters
Confidently navigate sensitive and challenging conversations
About You
Experience working as an HR Consultant,
HR Business Partner, People Partner or similar
Robust experience supporting performance management processes
Confident sitting in on and advising during performance review conversations
Comfortable managing sensitive employee matters
Robust knowledge of Australian employment practices and HR frameworks
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Commercial, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
Strong judgement, discretion and professionalism
