Join our team as a reliable Kitchen Hand in a rapid-paced CBD cafe. Part-time position, Tuesday to Thursday, approximately 24 hours per week.

Role Description

Working as part of our kitchen team, your duties will include:
Cutting and preparing vegetables
Preparing mise en place for service
Preparing various recipes and food items
Assisting with general kitchen duties
Dishwashing and maintaining a clean kitchen
Cleaning and sanitising work areas, utensils and equipment
Keeping the kitchen organised and ready for service
Working efficiently during busy service periods

The ideal candidate for this position has:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar kitchen role in Australia
Experience working in a commercial kitchen environment
Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and tools
Highly organised and efficient work habits
Good attention to detail
Ability to work well in a fast-paced workplace
Reliable, positive and hardworking attitude
Ability to work well as part of a team
Fluent English communication skills

Pay: $33.05 per hour
