Asphalt Solutions WA is looking to increase their team with a Civil & Asphalt Worker which is responsible for assisting in a variety of tasks related to civil construction and asphalt paving projects. This role requires a combination of physical labor, operating small machinery, and adherence to safety regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting with earthworks: operating small equipment as needed (e.g., shovel, rake, broom).
Operating equipment: Operating and maintaining various small construction equipment (training will be provided for specific equipment).
Asphalt paving: Assisting in the preparation of the base, spreading asphalt, raking and finishing asphalt surfaces, and operating related equipment (e.g., Pushing wheel barrow, hand tampers, rakes).
General labor: Cleaning the worksite, maintaining equipment, transporting materials, and other tasks as assigned
Understanding and adhering to safety regulations: Following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Assisting with surveying and layout: Helping with measuring, staking, and setting up job sites.




Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Working effectively as part of a team.
Adhering to project timelines and deadlines.

Qualifications:
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects, bending and standing for extended periods.
Experience: Prior experience in civil construction or asphalt paving is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn and being reliable is essential.
Skills: Ability to follow instructions, work independently and as part of a team, and maintain a secure work setting. Basic understanding of construction tools are essential
Valid Driver's License
White card
Reliable Transportation: Being in possession of a vehicle to get to work is essential
Working Conditions: Outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
