You will work as part of an afternoon and night shift crew carrying out the full clean down of production areas and equipment to documented food safety procedures.
Key responsibilities
Strip, clean and sanitise production equipment, surfaces, walls and floors to the site cleaning procedures
Handle and dose chemicals exactly as instructed, including foaming and rinsing
Complete cleaning checklists and records accurately before the shift ends
Wear the required PPE and follow all site safety rules
Report faults, damage and anything that could affect food safety to your supervisor
About you
Available and reliable for the full night shift roster
Comfortable working in physical, hands-on conditions including wet environments, high pressure water, cleaning chemicals, moving between warm and refrigerated areas, and repeated bending, reaching and lifting
Able to follow written and verbal procedures and safety instructions in English
Careful and consistent, because the work is checked and audited every day
Previous cleaning, sanitation,
food production or meat processing experience is helpful but not essential, as full training is provided
Able to complete a site induction and any pre-employment checks required for the site
