Your recent company Excellent opportunity for an experienced Workplace Health & Safety Advisor to join a large and well-established organisation in Brisbane CBD on a long-term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a safety-focused environment where you will provide expert WHS advice, support risk management initiatives, and help drive positive safety outcomes across the organisation.

Your new role

As the Workplace Health & Safety Advisor, you will partner with stakeholders to promote best practice safety standards and ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation.

Your responsibilities will include
Providing practical WHS advice and guidance to business units and leaders
Supporting the implementation and improvement of workplace health and safety initiatives
Monitoring and analysing safety performance data, trends, and reporting outcomes
Conducting workplace inspections, audits, and incident investigations
Applying risk management principles to identify and mitigate workplace hazards




Maintaining WHS management systems and supporting continuous improvement activities
Assisting with the development and review of policies, procedures, and safety documentation

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a Workplace Health & Safety, Safety Advisor, or similar role
Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, principles, and best practice frameworks
Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits
Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret safety data
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
